ALL GOODS ARE MADE FROM 100% NATURAL YARN.
Natural fibers are good for you and good for the environment. Alpaca, cotton, lambswool and other plant and animal fibers are comfortable to wear. People with sensitive skin are less likely to get allergies or rashes if they wear clothes made with natural fibers.
Wool is an excellent insulator against both heat and cold. Wool fibers have a natural crimp, little waves along the length of the fibre. The spaces created by the waves trap air which keeps you warm. In hot weather they ‘breathe’ and keep you comfortable by absorbing perspiration and releasing it into the air.
Synthetics could be considered plastic fabric. It is created in a chemical process. Yarn with a high percentage of synthetics and aggressive, chemical colors is not good for your skin and does not feel as comfortable as natural yarn.
ALPACA WOOL was called "the fiber of the gods" by the ancients Incas, who were well aware of its exceptional qualities. Alpaca feels soft and luxurious like cashmere and is extremely durable like sheep wool. Alpaca fibers are elastic, therefore clothes made from alpaca are very comfortable and stretch to fit. Because it doesn't contain lanolin, alpaca wool is hypoallergenic.
COTTON is a very durable and low maintenance fiber. We only use cotton that hasn't been treaded with toxic pesticides. Cotton yarn is great for summer garments. It is very breathable and absorbs moisture from the skin. Cotton fibers have a smooth surface, which makes them very soft and less fuzzy than wool. This is a great feature for baby garments.
LAMBSWOOL is taken from the first shearing of the young animal. This first shearing occurs typically around the lamb's age of seven months. It requires minimal processing since it is naturally extremely soft.
